Yoga class in Peterborough

Heart and Soul Yoga moved away from Peterborough and now teaches small group classes in Suzhou, China. Practicing yoga in small groups will help us focus on the individual, guiding them through their own life's challenges. Whatever the reason is for starting yoga, when we start to connect to our breath, when we take time to reflect and when we bring our own unique practice off the mat, that's when we realise that yoga is a holistic approach to our health and well-being. We build a grounded base where we can start to find our happiness and peace.

The yoga classes are especially designed to help to strengthen the body and to calm the mind. Focus is on breathing, gentle yoga postures and relaxation.

We also offer Heart and Soul Yoga pregnancy classes, helping to prepare for birth and labour. Pregnancy yoga can help to keep energy levels up, and uses relaxation and breathing techniques to guide the mother-to-be through her journey. You can come and enjoy our pregnancy yoga class from the 14th week of pregnancy. We do recommend to follow up your pregnancy yoga class with post-natal yoga. Helping new mommies to re-energise, to get back in shape and to find some peace of mind.

Heart and Soul Yoga teaches yoga to children, introducing them to the fundamental principles of yoga and learning the children to apply this in their daily lives. The Children will practice yoga poses to promote: self-esteem, attention, strength, endurance, flexibility and relaxation. We use games, music and storytelling with the clear intention to help children to cope with the ever changing busy world.
